Welcome to Table 24 Restaurant

This heritage building was Salmon Arm’s former courthouse built in 1929. The previous sheriff’s office and barrister’s room is now occupied by the main dining room. The old courtroom, where the judge sat and handed down all of his rulings, is now the private event room. A portion of the kitchen, located in the basement, was used as an old jail cell.

Our vision of this dining room is to enhance the integrity of the building, while adding a slight modern flair for you to enjoy an upscale dining experience. Our private event room on the top floor accommodates 10 to 40 guests for lunch or dinner making this the perfect setting for a special party or corporate function. We hope you enjoy this space as much as we do!

We believe in the historic concept that a restaurant’s purpose is to restore its guests.  We invite you to relax in this historic building and enjoy a refreshing dining experience that will truly engage all of your senses. Thank you for spending your time with us.

Why "Table 24"?

  • Many people have asked,
“Where did the name Table 24 come from?”
    and this is the story…

It was the summer of 2000 and Lenny was a kilt-wearing server in the former Kelly O’Bryan’s restaurant here in Salmon Arm. Gina was out for dinner with her family and happened to be in Lenny’s section that night. It was then that Lenny and Gina first met, and as they say… and the rest is history. When brainstorming a name for the restaurant, they both realized that Gina and her family had been sitting at Table #24 when they first met.

There it was all along, the perfect name for their new restaurant… Table 24.
